This 1 day training for people who identify as Women will reframe your story of Anger &
reveal the lesser known gifts of this energy as a source of clarity, courage, vitality & safety in your life.
You may be have a sense that Anger can be useful and constructive
but have been uncertain how to tap into this resource safely.
You may have a sense that there is a bigger, wilder, more authentic voice that wants to express
through you but feel shy, insecure or uncertain how to unleash her... safely.
You may be ready to step out of the mould that you've shaped for yourself so far and require the
tools and emotional wisdom to hold yourself as you do.
Perhaps you freeze in the face of Anger (yours and/or others') and would like to be able to
remain centered and connected to yourself in order to take more informed action during these times.
No matter your experience, reconnecting to the inherent Emotional Wisdom of Anger
can serve you in these and so many more ways.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON THE DAY?
Anger expert and The Art of Relating co-founder, Stacia Karina Beazley, will provide a safe and transformational space in which you can explore and redefine cultural and personal narratives about Anger, discover the true
purpose of your feelings and begin to expand your embodied experience of Anger to one that is
enlivening, informative, wise and empowering.
We will begin with getting to know each other and our collective stories on Anger.
We'll share information to provide context around the gifts of Anger and core feelings.
You will then be invited into exercises and practices that traverse the physical, emotional and energetic
bodies, experiencing the gifts of Anger in a deeply embodied way.
There will be a 1hr break for lunch (please bring your lunch with you) as well as
short breaks mid morning & afternoon.

"A transformative experience. I had complete trust in the facilitator and space holders who knew when to push, how far to push and, more importantly, how to support. I walked away energised, confident, empowered and with knowledge and respect for a basic feeling that has been repressed by myself and society my whole life. To the facilitator, space holders and other beautiful angry women I am truly grateful. Lots of love." Cathy Stevens Participant at the Inaugural Reclaiming Anger for Women training. |
I HAVE TRAUMA AROUND ANGER, IS THIS OK FOR ME?
"Everyone's experience of Anger and it's impact is unique.
It would be irresponsible of me to give a blanket Yes or No answer to this question.
However... I have been asked about trauma many times from participants before attending the Anger training. It's natural to feel scared and stirred when moving towards an energy that may have, to date, been experienced as dangerous, overpowering, intrusive or insensitive.
I have a trauma & feelings informed approach and work with the wisdom of the body.
You choose how far you go with every exercise. It may be your first step is to observe.
What I've discovered (from my own experience as well as for others) is that a lot of trauma that is held in the body
is a conglomeration of unexpressed emotion and once they feel safe to release the trauma reduces.
The irony is that Anger is a resource that helps you to set boundaries, draw on greater strength, endure, hold space and ultimately create more safety in your life. We each need to take our own unique time to explore this."
Stacia
"I felt so inspired by your facilitation. Collectively you delivered all of the information and demonstrated with such clarity and precision and this really helped me to feel safe in what we were exploring. It was also an extremely clear and powerful example of one of the beneficial ways in which we can use our anger energy. Stacia I felt that you held the space in a very nurturing way, your gentle but strong presence held me in the process... Again, you were incredibly clear in your instruction and explanations. You both clearly live the work that you are sharing, and this is deeply reassuring and inspiring. You know when to hold, when to speak, when to encourage, what to explain, what not to explain."
