What if transforming your relationship with Anger was the medicine you needed to make
radical shifts to your health, relationships and wellbeing?
How does supressing this core feeling (or any of them for that matter) impact your
physical, mental, emotional and energetic bodies?
When we have blocks in any of these aspects of ourselves it can't help but impact our sense of wellbeing.
We all feel Anger.
It’s an unavoidable, core and vital human feeling.
What most of us have come to know as Anger is the emotional charge that shows up when it is suppressed.
The pure Feeling of Anger however, is neutral energy and information that we can access as a resource for maintaining healthy boundaries and healthy relationships.

"Healthy anger leaves the individual, not the unbridled emotion, in charge." "In numerous studies of cancer, the most consistently identified risk factor is the inability to express emotion, particularly the feelings associated with anger. The repression of anger is not an abstract emotional trait that mysteriously leads to disease. It is a major risk factor because it increases physiological stress on the organism." Gabor Mate :: When The Body Says No |
Maintaining boundaries, both internally and externally is about creating clarity, distinctions and structure, all of which reduces the amount of stress held in the body.
Anger is the energy required to assert and hold these energetic boundaries and structures.
This is no different with our physical bodies.
If you consider holding a yoga pose for just a few seconds longer... having a healthy connection to your Anger can mean you have access to a resource that can help you hold that boundary... just... that... little... bit... longer!
It may not make sense to the brain that has been taught that Anger is about aggression, violence and danger but this vital core feeling actually has an incredibly important functions in our life.
Sadly, when you’ve spent a lifetime learning to push this energy down it has to find its way out.
This happens externally, through behaviours like passive aggression, snide remarks and/or volcanic eruptions
&
internally through symptoms such as disease, disconnection and depression.
Learning to activate the pure, clear, healthy energy of Anger is a game changer when it comes to health, vitality and wellbeing.
It all starts with you... and a willingness to question your story about Anger and allow the possibility that Anger may be a functional, necessary and healthy aspect of being a human that feels.
You feel Anger for a reason.
When we can attune to its gifts, medicine and messages, the quality of our wellbeing and
our relationships can take a radical shift.

"Having been taught that anger was wrong and would not be tolerated, I've been incredibly shut down in my experience of it for as long as I can remember. Crumbling into tears of shame and grief or disassociating completely, feeling my body and mind go numb whenever anger reared its head. Doing the workshop with Stacia has helped me to begin to unravel the binds I've had myself in and to truly realise that my rage, my anger, is actually my life force. I am so grateful that I joined in on Stacia's work. Even as I felt the overwhelm and fear come on, expressing that I felt afraid that I would crumble or numb out, Stacia dropped into such deep presence with me and responded in such a way that helped me to feel so supported and safe. Not only did she do this with me, I observed her bring such attuned care to each of us who attended. I recommend this work and Stacia's facilitation to anyone who wants to heal and deepen their relationship with anger." WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON THE DAY?
Anger expert and The Art of Relating co-founder, Stacia Karina Beazley, along with support from Jordhana Clark, will offer a safe and transformational space in which you can explore and redefine cultural and personal narratives about Anger, discover its true purpose, and explore new embodied experiences of this energy.
We will begin with with group agreements and getting to know each other and our collective stories on Anger.
After exploring content about the gifts of Anger and core feelings we will enter into exercises and practices that traverse the physical, emotional and energetic bodies.
Some of the practices will invite strong physical movement and loud vocal expression of Anger.
Others will explore how we can draw on Anger as a resource in more every-day, practical situations.
There will be a 1hr break for lunch (please bring your lunch with you) as well as
short breaks mid morning & afternoon.

“Anger can be positive - actually it’s necessary & I’m incomplete without it.
I thought it was dangerous, impolite, selfish, unjustified. Now I know it is a call to action.
“I never saw anger as a child & never learnt how to have a relationship with it. This has blocked me from being who I am. This workshop helped me connect with my anger and experience it in a safe positive & healing space. I feel more connected to myself."

I HAVE TRAUMA AROUND ANGER, IS THIS OK FOR ME?
"Everyone's experience of Anger and it's impact is unique.
It would be irresponsible of me to give a blanket Yes or No answer to this question.
I have been asked about trauma many times from participants before attending Anger trainings. It's natural to feel scared and stirred when moving towards an energy that may have, to date, been experienced as dangerous, overpowering, intrusive or insensitive.
There will be periods of loud group Anger expression that last for approx. 30-40 seconds at a time.
If you currently are in the middle of navigating deep trauma and are unable to down-regulate your nervous system this may not be the next step for you.
Sometimes a couple of private sessions is the way for some people to ease in to this work. For others entering a group space feels safer than one-on-one sessions.
If you're uncertain, please contact me for a chat before booking in.
I have a trauma & feelings informed approach and work with the wisdom of the body.
You choose how far you go with every exercise. It may be your first step is to observe.
What I've discovered (from my own experience as well as for others) is that a lot of trauma that is held in the body
is a conglomeration of unexpressed emotion and once they feel safe to release the trauma reduces.
The irony is that Anger is a resource that helps you to set boundaries, draw on greater strength, endure, hold space and ultimately create more safety in your life. We each need to take our own unique time to explore this."
Stacia
"I felt so inspired by your facilitation. Collectively you delivered all of the information and demonstrated with such clarity and precision and this really helped me to feel safe in what we were exploring. It was also an extremely clear and powerful example of one of the beneficial ways in which we can use our anger energy. Stacia I felt that you held the space in a very nurturing way, your gentle but strong presence held me in the process... Again, you were incredibly clear in your instruction and explanations. You clearly live the work that you are sharing, and this is deeply reassuring and inspiring. You know when to hold, when to speak, when to encourage, what to explain, what not to explain."
