RECLAIMING ANGER

PREPARATION & AGREEMENTS

PREPARATION

Working with Anger is inviting a lot of energy to move through your body.  More than you are usually used to.

In order to maximise your experience in a safe and transformational way, we suggest that you:

:: Refrain from consuming any substances or stimulants that suppress feeling for 24hrs prior to and during the event, this includes coffee, smoking, narcotics and excessive food/sugar intake.  You know your own habits best.
:: Eat a healthy breakfast.
:: Bring a light lunch for yourself on Saturday & Sunday that we eat altogether therefore keeping our energy and focus in connection all day.
:: Bring a journal or notebook for reflective writing.
:: Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in and a change of clothes if you are
someone who sweats easily with vigorous movement.
:: We suggest that you don't plan parties or social engagements in the evenings and take the whole
weekend to be in the field of this work.
:: Many participants find they have a much lower capacity for speaking after the workshop and for the following couple of days.  Your vocal chords will be utilised a lot more than they have been used to.  We provide you with insights of how to minimise voice loss however this may be part of your process.  You may not want to plan to give a speech the following day!

For safety reasons we can't allow you to participate if you arrive intoxicated on the day - in that case you will forfeit your ticket.
