One of our core Artful Relating workshops
How many times have you felt like you’ve been stuck in a drama loop and can’t get out?
It may be your drama or someone else’s (and often they overlap and feed each other).
The ‘she said this’ and ‘they did that’ recounting of what has already passed, fighting for your place to be right or defending yourself from someone else’s story of you.
This is one of the most common and exhausting games that we human’s play on a daily basis.
Movies, TV series (dramas), News, Music… so many of our cultural influences contain stories of drama that don’t serve us.
The stories we play out by going into ‘people pleasing rescuer’ mode when someone else may appear to be uncomfortable, or by blaming others (or being blamed) for what’s happening without looking at ourselves, by making people appear to be wrong so we can appear to be right etc. etc.
The ways we can engage in this game of Low Drama are endless.
However there is a doorway out and a whole new game that is awaiting us.
Over this power packed evening we’ll explore what energy fuels each of these characters in the Low Drama Triangle and how this same energy, when used with conscious, radical responsibility, can shift your game to a whole new map of possibilities. Meet the archetypal characters you can call on for an empowering, more alive version of the drama that is your life.
Because let’s face it. It’s all a story. And a drama is just a story. Which story do you wish to play the lead roles in?
