"I felt so inspired by your facilitation. Collectively you delivered all of the information and demonstrated with such clarity and precision and this really helped me to feel safe in what we were exploring. It was also an extremely clear and powerful example of one of the beneficial ways in which we can use our anger energy.
Stacia I felt that you held the space in a very nurturing way, your gentle but strong presence held me in the process.
Gero, you encouraged me to dive deeper into this process with your gentle but powerful 'go go goes!'. Again, you were incredibly clear in your instruction and explanations.
You both clearly live the work that you are sharing, and this is deeply reassuring and inspiring. You know when to hold, when to speak, when to encourage, what to explain, what not to explain. For me I loved the way that you worked together in the moment, i felt you were always present with what was going on, checking in with each other with what was needed at the time and also with us. This gave it a very natural and relaxing flow."
Reclaiming Anger participant
Facilitators* - we see you, we honour you and we wish to support you.
We know that holding space/presence for people by creating environments for healing, growth and transformation can be both rewarding and demanding. Inviting people to step out of their comfort zone requires a context of trust and safety.
Reclaiming Anger – Facilitator’s Edition is a professional development opportunity for people who work with people. In this peer-led learning environment, you will have the chance to explore your own relationship with Anger, as well as the opportunity to practice drawing on this essential archetypal energy. This leads to greater clarity and integrity in your facilitation so you can better bring your gifts to those you work with.
In Reclaiming Anger – Facilitator’s Edition, we will explore Anger in the context of creating boundaries, clear agreements, managing time and maintaining safe spaces. You will learn skills in how to meet the Anger of others, learning how to stay present and in connection and thus modelling powerful ways of growing and relating for your participants and clients. We will explore dynamics such as clients challenging your expertise, disrupting sessions, projecting their pain in the form of Anger towards you, or trying to exert control.
If you would like to hold more presence, bring more clarity, be more deeply connected to what is moving in your private or group session, and support your clients to be more empowered by connecting to the vital energy of Anger, we encourage you to join us in this unique exploration.
What's on Offer?
Since our inception in 2013 as ‘The Art of Relating’ we, Stacia and Gero, have built a solid reputation around our unique approach to working with Anger. Our intention is to create a safe and transformational space where you can redefine your relationship with the energy of Anger from foe to friend and become more empowered in your facilitation.
Friday Night: 7-10pm
Here we set the scene with a contextual overview of Feelings work. We unpack the gifts of the Feeling of Anger and it's companions Fear, Sadness & Joy and you will learn a powerful centering practice. You will also discover the importance of differentiating between a feeling and an emotion; a distinction that is vital to building healthy relationships. The above offer radical new possibilities for communication and are life-changing when applied.
Saturday: 10am - 6pm (optional dinner in nearby location)
Together, we develop new perspectives on feelings work with Anger as the Gatekeeper. We support you to build a healthy relationship with this energy in a safe environment through a variety of exercises and practices** that feed your intellect as well as your physical, emotional and energetic bodies. We explore how to stay centred and open in the ‘face of Anger’ and how you can access the energy of Anger in yourself to serve the moment.
At the completion of Saturday you are welcome to join us in a nearby restaurant to engage in conversation over a nourishing meal. Details will be determined on the day.
Sunday: 10am - 5pm
On Sunday morning the intensity of embodiment work will reach its peak before we enter into integration and reflection time on our way back out into the world that once knew you......
You will have learned tools that enable you to be in the presence of unconscious, unhealthy Anger as well as practices that bring your responsible, conscious Anger energy into action to serve the people you work with as well as yourself.
Throughout the weekend you will be invited into intensive practices** that allow you to clear old blocks and withheld Anger thus creating greater spaciousness and access to your feeling world and the navigational capacity it holds for you.
Preparation & What to Bring
In order to maximise your experience, we suggest that you:
For safety reasons we can't allow you to participate if you arrive intoxicated on the day - in that case you will forfeit your ticket.
We will cap the number of participants for this weekend at 16 in order to create a safe and powerful environment - so be quick to reserve your place. This work is transformational. We value both the space and the potential accordingly.
Friday Night Fundamentals:
If you are unavailable to attend the whole weekend we encourage you to come just for the ‘Friday Night Fundamentals’ to learn more about the contextual basis of our work.
Please give us a call or send us a message if you have any questions. You can find our contact details on our Connect page.
* We consider you a facilitator if you work with people in 1:1 setting or in group environments - that includes coaches, doctors, educators, group coordinators, midwives, therapists and workshop facilitators.
**All practices allow for participants to choose their own level of engagement recognising that we are all at different stages in the process of restoring our relationship with Anger.
